What You’ll Find Here

With hundreds of different college soccer programs out there, it’s really hard to learn about each and every one. Sure you can surf the web to get minor details about the program. You can click around the college’s website to get a feel for the school. But where do you go to hear from the coach and learn about a program in an in-depth way? Here… that’s where…

So Who’s Behind This Thing?

My name is Matt Baehr. I played NCAA Division 3 college soccer in the late 90s. Back then, you had to write physical letters to coaches. Highlight tapes were actual VHS tapes. High School soccer was just as important as club soccer. Man, have things changed. After college, I was lucky enough to start coaching. I was an Assistant Varsity Coach for a high school in Virginia where we won the State Title. There ended up being 2 future USMNT players on that team. I ended up going to graduate school and playing Club Soccer for large D1 school and getting an MBA and Masters in Sports Administration. With that background, I became Head Soccer Coach at a small school that was both NCAA Division 2 and NCCAA. I worked several big soccer camps and met a lot of great coaches. Over the years, I have been the Executive Director of a large soccer club and was the Program Manager for Soccer at IMG Academy.

My kids are very much into soccer. My oldest child is now getting to the age where she’s thinking about playing college soccer. However, we realized that besides clicking around the school’s website, there wasn’t a great way to REALLY learn about a program and school, before you’re old enough to do official visits. Also, how do you learn about schools that you’ve never heard of? Sure, you can find some websites that will narrow things down based on certain criteria, but that usually won’t lead to you dig even deeper on a program.

We’ve set out to interview as many programs as we can to help you find the best program for your situation. If you have schools you want us to interview specifically, please let us know!
